Lauren Wearne commenced her PhD within the Medical Device Research Institute in 2020 under the supervision of A/Prof Egon Perilli and Prof Mark Taylor. Her research explores lower-limb biomechanics and induced damage, specifically exploring the quantification of interference fit of tibial trays during press-fit implantation through micro-computer tomography and digital volume correlation.
